Best dance synth?
Thursday, November 22 2007 @ 04:20 PM CST

I'd like to hear from some of the electronica musicians as to what their favorite synth is for creating thick dance sounds. I use Vanguard a lot and I really want to buy Nexus. Are there any others i should consider?

Here is a company that has some great products. I am hoping Santa brings me this. LOL!!! I also use Vanguard as well as Nexus. I am very very pleased with both AU's. Nexus has more sound-banks offered and has a richer/fuller sound (IMO). The AU listed below is awesome!!! Unfortunately, they do not offer a demo version at this time. I would like to see one produced, so that I could see what kind of load it puts on my system while using it with Vanguard and Nexus. Oh, and one more thing: Spectrasonics has just recently come out with a fix/patch for Intel-based Macs, if you are happening to use a Mac. Hope this helps out! Be well!

That would have been my first suggestion.

Try Ultra-Analog. People rave about how thick it can sound.

Victor.
