Good Thing – July 27, 2005

It’s been going well
I know it’s just begun
And as you can tell
I haven’t tried to run

You know I think about you all the time
And I know I’m happy you are mine

And this could be a good thing
And this could be a good start
All I know is that you have a place inside my heart

I feel genuinely light
I’ve had this feeling before
Not sure if it’s right
But I’m not running for the door

You know I think about you all the time
And I know I’m happy you are mine

And this could be a good thing
And this could be a good start
All I know is that you have a place inside my heart

I hope you don’t mind
Me writing songs about our time
Cruising and getting our fix
Listening to your latest mix
Dancing around in the car
Making your shoes stay as they are
Like when your working the store
Thinking about you and wanting you more

Where you been, Fairy?
Nice to have you back. Your voice shines, as ever. And this
could easily have been a hit for Janet Jackson or someone
similar a few years back. For me, the balance in the mix
between the beats and your vocals wasn't quite right but
that could just be my ears. My other minor criticism
(sorry) relates to the ending… it just seems to stop with a
bit of a wimper. Could you maybe do something to make
it end more interestingly. Endings are always tough and I
think 85% of criticisms I make on MacJams relate to the
way people's songs end, so it's not just you by any means.
But nice one FM17. Like I said before, good to have you

Like it.
It seems that girls whose names start with "fairy" are quite talented. You ever think of collaborating with fairybeth? lol

to see you back again.
Great track Fairy...
I love your vocals, you sing beautifully.
The only thing I can critique really is the production, you
sound as though you are in an empty room, try using the
'gate' a little. and perhaps a touch of reverb
anyway, its just a minor pick..
Fabulous song

Good composition
Got me tapping my feet and enjoying a nice day:)

I think the arrangement and composition is great. Do you play all instruments your self? Very nice piano that floats in between the lines.
What a great voice you have. I really enjoyed the track.

Could maybe do with a sexy funky guitar rythm playing some hook-lines though... But who could deliver those... beats me;)

You have a new fan!

Funky and Light and
excellent singing. I'm glad the new e-mail notice feature is
here, otherwise I might have missed this.
The ending seems a bit too abrupt, perhaps add a second or
two to let the vocal reverb fade.

Hey, I love pop music, piano ballads, and beautiful smooth, clear vocals. I've been singing since I was young in musical theater and drama productions. I can play flute and piano. Taking guitar lessons. Writing songs is something new I've tried. It's... [see more]
