Description
This song is kind of a 9/11 anthem for me. I wanted to write a song that celebrated the victory of love and unity over chaos. People either create or they destroy and this tune is meant to be a rallying cry for all of us who would rather live in peace and prosperity than war and ruin. We will rebuild what has been destroyed and we will regrow what has been killed. You can't stop the spirit of right.

One God, one world, one life. Live it well.

Nice
Nice one Cipher, I liked the spaced out rock guitar sounds in
that!

Nice Tune
Very nice anthem composition. The orchestration is very
well done; however, I think a greater variety of
instruments would add some real sonic depth.

Thanks!

Just the beginning
I agree with your comment RB. This post is just the first
version. I've done/am working on remixes galore of many of
my tunes. I'm working on an AE version of TWS this week.

Good track, somewhat like Joe Satriani
This had a good sound to it, reminded me of Joe Satriani in several ways. Is he an influence in your musical styling?

I always enjoy a good instrumental rock number, and this qualifies! :D

Surfing without the alien
Thanks for the comments aralim.

I know Joe's material but I'm not really a fan. I am not even a guitar player
so no, he hasn't influenced me directly.

I wish I had his chops though!

I like this
I'm patriotic, but I live in the midwest where people look at
you funny if you're not wearing your patriotism on your sleeve.

(Let's just say that my market has been oversaturated with
Red, White & Blue marketing messages.)

I'd like to allow for a more diverse range of what it means to be
a patriotic American. For example, wouldn't it be more apropos
for the number of gods to be 0 <= n <= infinity?

That said, I'm pleased that your piece on the subject is an
instrumental, because I think that as soon as you try to capture
this subject with lyrics you're doomed.

You have a skill with composition that I admire. I'd like to be
able to create something like this some day. Heck, I'd be pleased
just to be able to execute this piece on a guitar.

Rock on.

I like this
I'd like to add that I'm not taking issue with your
use of "One God" on this page.

I was kind of riffing on that theme, because this
is one of the ways that the concept of patriotism
seems to be pigeon-holed where I live.

hmm, i live in the west where patriotism is mocked, and i'm moving to the midwest with foster family who was all in the military while i hold some bit of anti-patriotism views in a way. lets hope we don't clash too much though we have once or twice luckily i love them to death and have gotten used to the difference in views/

Great Riff.
lots of mixin problems, lots of clipping and such. Its a great riff though
and has a lot of potential.

Keep working on it

nicely done
this is actually a nice instrumental. shall leave the patriotic aspects out of it. i feel if we are to be united it should be the world as a whole not seperate countries. anyways, i'm liking the guitar. nice use of space, lots of layers that work nicely together. peace and not war would be a great thing. like the little break where it's just the bass. it's slowly building up the layers nicely. i really like the keyboard part as well
