Description
My first composition using nothing but loops. Brilliantly haunting voices from heaven courtesy of elfdaughter. The more I contemplated the idea of the slaughter of the innocents the colder and sadder I became until the music bgan to flow. Sometimes grief brings a gift.

movie quality
I just watched kingdom of heaven so its probably influencing my experience of your work -choir like voices sweeping pieces & so forth. It fits wonderfully with any sort of big dramatic event building up to The Really Bad Thing thats coming. I would say I would like to see it intensify at the end as what it builds up to occurs or crescends. All in all a great piece very evocative of mood.

Ghostly vibe...
I dig it. The vibe is ghostly with an techno-ethinic twist... shaken, not
stirred... High marks... I take this one with me. And now, I go...

chanting
chanting vocals indeed. i think this will go on my ipod. it'd be nice to see the lyrics. the instrumental does a good job of letting the vocals carry the song.

Thanks Scream!
Sorry for being so late getting back to you with this one - glad you like my vocals! :D

Lyrics are:

Lully, lullay thou little tiny child, By by, lully, lullay.
O sisters too, how may we do for to preserve this day.
This poor youngling for whom we do sing, by by, lully, lallay?
Herod the king, in his raging, charged he hath this day
His men of might, in his own sight, all young children to slay.
O woe is me, poor child for thee! And ever morn the day,
For thy parting neither say nor sing by by, lully lullay!

Forced ukulele lessons in grade school threatened to forever destroy any chance of me growing to love and make music. Mercifully, the hatred of stringed instruments dissolved during adolescence, along with my innocence and respect for authority. Ente... [see more]
