Description
This was recorded last year.... I'm not totally happy with it so it may see a rerecording one day....However....this is one of those times where Ratcliffe(lead guitar on this one) really lets his fingers fly in the middle of the tune and again at the end....get set for launch

Lyrics
is there anybody out there with what you need??
is there anyone subscribing to your kind of greed??
if we keep buying....we keep dying

they'll take you....away now
they'll break you....away now
they'll shake you....away now
they'll make you....away now

can you facilitate corrections in distorted breeds??
will you implement the lesson?? eat poison seed

they'll take you....away now
they'll break you....away now
they'll shake you....away now
they'll make you....away now

control the information, slash and burn with speed
keep the knowledge at a premium when it should be free

they'll take you....away now
they'll break you....away now
they'll shake you....away now
they'll make you....away now

Really nice playing mister!
Like your playing a lot, cool Bassline you got there! Nice track, the guitar solo sounds very impressive!

Cool
Pretty catchy bassline in the beginning to snatch your attention. It
worked.

I also really liked the deep rumbling effect before the second chorus.
Made the chorus itself seem all the more powerful - not that it really
lacked any power to begin with.
But there seems to be some distortion on the vocals at places...
intentional, perhaps?

Pretty cool guitar solo in there as well. He really let it rip!

The ending was pretty cool, as well.

All in all a pretty good track. Definately deserves a little more attention
:)

Nice
songwriting, well executed. The drums, guitar, bass and singing all sound good to me. I can see where you'd want to tighten this thing up, but you sure got better results here than the handful of times I've done studio recordings as part of a "real band". The heavier sections rock, and those vocals are really good.

I like it
I don't think the intro has quite the energy that some of your other stuff has.

Still very professional in terms of the production.

Some of the cymbol hits are a little too large and distracting (early in the song). I like the distortion that you use on the vocals in the choruses. Nice fuzz to add some depth.

Kinda has a bit of a Jane's Addiction feel hidden under the layers - the bass and guitar play off each other very well in the verses in a similar manner to JA. Also the repeated nature of the guitar solos is pretty interesting. I like how you start the second one in a similar way to the first, but then end it with a bit more energy. Then the harmonized part... into a KILLER last riff, then done??? I wish you could have given me more of that last riff.

Great stuff as usual. Do you have a CD available for purchase?

Breezy effin' rock!
How refreshing this is! It shifts gears between a sort of Tom Petty-like breeze to some harder, GAD should I say it, Nu-rock....anyway, this is really great - I love the groove and the production muchly. This song really says it - "facilitate corrections" doesn't really roll off the tongue for some reason, but that's a personal change, just going from the gut.

NICE solo!!!!

I'd bring the voice up - any harmonies written for this? It would be a nice layer in some of the wide-open rock, because you've got such a blowsy feel going on there - the extra voice would be another wind in the sails. Drums could be beefier, give it more punch, which would really bring the bass into play. Other than that - this is a really smooth and cool rock track that manages to be thoughtful instead of just merely angry, like so much of the crap that's out there. Big ups to this one!
