Lyrics
storm was brewing in the dead of night
close all hatches real damn tight
i havent seen the winds like this before

the mast has fallen once before
i dont think he can take it anymore
she hasent gone through worst than this before

the light shone through the dead of night
our god came through the darkest of nights
and spoke to me and said these words before me

go west into the light
my dearest son until you come to
the gates were i first started the world
ill give you the power to go raise an army to
take on the sorcerers gaze

Epic folk
Love the epic feel, the patience in development. Very nice chorus and
guitar playing. Wonderful combination of classic and contemporary
sensibility.

The makings of a top-flight song!
This is a really fine song and IMHO still needs some tweaking in the vocal
section...The vocals at the beginning need to sound stronger and more
present and graduate to the chorus effect toward the end...I can tell
you've spent allot of time on this and you'll have a real gem if you can just
bring more presence, power, clarity and intensity to the vocals...A definite
download for me...thanks, and keep polishing this diamond it will
ultimately shine like the sun!....Peace and Light, Norman

Wow
I was hooked from the first few seconds. The delicate guitar combined
with the soft strings really appealed to me. That part alone would've
been enough for me, but you had more tricks up your sleeve.
The drums kinda surprised me; did not expect the song to break out
like that. (I thought they lacked a bit of variation, but then again, it
might just be me).
But you maintained a steady groove full of beautiful melodies and
harmonies throughout, and I applaud you for it.

*applause*

Great work!

Random song picked, and it's awesome!
This was a song randomly picked for review by Deputydoofy's russian-
roulette post. This is awesome. The guitar picking in the first quarter of
the song was hypnotic... very entrancing and leading you into the vocal
core of the song. The lyrics are very well written, very inspirational and
emboldening. Vocals are great, too, understated yet strong in its
conviction. Download..download..download...

Tobin called the feel epic...and I agree...you capture a sense of
something bigger... but shrouded in mystery.... the guitar intro is lush
and sets us up well.. I don't even mind the length, because it takes us
someplace and builds to up to the story... one quibble, I would like to
see you work your lyric a bit more.. some of the lines seem "throw
away" or tossed in... somehow the story comes across as too important
for that...

The guitar
work again shines in this... beautifully done. Simply gorgeous.

I love how the guitar changes and the addition of the drums... perfect!

Vocals are wonderful... Another download!
