Description
I took off the the last version cause I felt like I was breathing like a gorilla on it:)

This one is a bit more mellow, I'm trying to show more peace and tranquility on it.

The Lord made gorillas, too, Bill...
Plus, the whole thing you're thanking him for, really, is that you're
breathing... everything follows from that...

I personally kind of like hearing a little breath in there, and some
background noise.... It's odd to think that we're supposed to separate
the sounds of life from the recording of music...

This IS really beautiful. Again. But if you post version 4, I'm not
downloading it. We've spoken before, I believe, about what percentage
of my hard drive you are allocated...

I'm gonna miss that ol' gorilla Bill!
But this is also very majestic and beautiful. Thanks once again!

Be well!

It has life
Deep expression. Quiet singularities ease into fluttering warmth.

Well "Praised!"

gorilla in the music
You should've never used that word "gorilla," because once I got it into my head, I couldn't separate it from this song. Every time I listen to it I imagine a large silverback gorilla on stage performing an beautiful and delicate solo - such a bizarre image to come out of this mello music!

I don't say this to detract from your work here. I can separate the humor from the tranquility. It's just one of those momentary tricks the mind plays through word association.

I've been listening to your CD (downloaded from iTunes), and I marvel at the many different textures and tones you coax out of your guitar. And then I think that these same hands producing the notes are also ones busy laying tile - and once again I marvel at what human hands are capable of doing.

You had me . . .
You had me on the intro, when you played that lowered fifth a few
times. What a subtle thing, and how effective.

Wonderful production and execution. You've been blessed with a huge
amount of talent, and you have worked for years (decades, probably) to
develop your gifts, all to our benefit.

Happy Easter, Bill. The Lord is risen. He is risen indeed!

Thanks John, so much gosple music seems to be geard toward more rythmic
quailites, But this tune in it's original form has tremendous capabilities to sooth
in a calming way. I think the acoustical guitar can bring that out.

Thanks

Very free, flowing version
As a church organist, I strive to keep a steady, moderately brisk tempo on
this piece, because, of course, the congregation is singing along. It's nice
to hear it done in this more reflective, thoughtful style. The words kept
running through my mind (only the first verse), and it was interesting to
note how differently it feels in this tranquil version.
Happy Easter!

Thanks for stopping by on this. Ya, I tried to bring out that new age classical
feeling that alot of persent day acoustical guitarists are striving to get.

Thanks, great that you are doing that to help out a church.
