Lyrics
Everybody’s searching through the rain and the dark, looking for love
But when it gets too hard, they leave.
Lord, you didn’t shy away from the pain of the cross in Your love for me.
You said You'd never let me go, and I believe.

Where would I go, ’cause, Jesus, only You have the words of life.
To You I belong.
What could I say, when Your words cut through my heart just like a knife,
Dividing right from wrong.
Lord, You loved me first, and chose me to be with you.

People say that love is a feeling. It comes and it goes like the weather,
Leaving a trail of empty hearts.
But Your love is strong like a rock. It remains and holds us together.
Not even death can loose Your hand, or pull us apart.

Where would I go, ’cause, Jesus, only You have the words of life.
To You I belong.
What could I say, when Your words cut through my heart just like a knife,
Dividing right from wrong.
Lord, You loved me first, and chose me to be with you.
For better or worse, You hold me so close to You.
And watch over me, Your promise is always true

I really dig your mellow chops. Sweet voice. Well-played progression.
Excellent backing vocals.
Really clean sound.

Good job
Very good message and song. Very pretty arrangement. (I have used
channelstrip a few times on the demo version anyway and it works for my
voice, but not for my Uncles voice, which is a lot lower than mine. It adds
presence to mine but overpowers with a lower voice. It might make a
good addition to your vocals, they are higher tonal quality like mine.) Very
good song which conveys good emotion and style.

Very warm
Very warm meditation and prayer of praise. Wonderfully written, arranged,
and performed. Was your wife providing those beautiful background
harmonies?

I have only one suggestion: pan your vocals to the center more. They were
way over to the right.

Thank you for this prayer and may our Lord bless you,

Rick

Very warm
I greatly appreciate the encouragement. Yes, It is my wonderful wife doing the
background vocals.

But I'm puzzled.

My vocals are right in the center if I look at the pan knob in GB, and sound
centered when I listen from this page on both my computers. Does anyone else
hear my voice to the right?

Thanks again and may God bless YOUR upcoming union to a great harmonist!

Nice
Very Insightful musical piece. We obviously have different styles, but the
message...its all about Jesus, all I am and have and ever hope to be.
