Lyrics
Lifted higher than majestic mountains
Higher than the moon and stars
Exalted over all the heavens
Above all principalities and powers
You are higher than the saints encircling your throne
Let every knee bow down and voice be raised
Lord you stand alone

You stand alone. You stand alone
Jesus name above all other names
You stand alone. You stand alone
All things are brought humbly low
At the foot of the cross
Lord you stand alone

Well arranged and produced...
Good sound for sure! Very nice crisp stuff. Very good music here. The mix is done well. The harmonies are not easily heard, but they are not buried either...so it is up to you to make them louder or not. Either way it is sounding well done. Might try left and right panned harmonies...makes them fatter sometimes! (Have to sing them twice though)!! Good stuff.

New vocals in the plan
Thanks for the ears. I will be doing something more with vocals. And panning is a good option. I have a friend who has harmony beds down. He suggests layering 3 tracks for each part. But I'd have to sing the high part on three different days, cuz after one take my voice is shot!

Nicely done!
Excellent worship song! I agree with Jonathan about panning the harmonies, but, you don't need to sing them twice. As long as what you want is identical to what has been layed down already, you just need to duplicate the tracks using GBs drop down menus, then pan the tracks the way you want.

God bless,

Rick

Thanks Rick
I want to re-record the vocals because of harmony issues, and I have an idea for the soft break after the key change that I'm excited to try.

Thanks for the listen

Great song
Thanks for finding me and commenting on Never Wanna Cry. Great to see people with worship songs on here! I remember when I frist joined.... I felt a little alone on here in that department....

I think the mix is pretty good. The panning of harmonies is a great effect to use, one I used in my latest dong. Just make sure not to pan to far :).

I would like to see the vocals with slightly more presence... try playing with the gains on your vocal track, rather than the slider volume...

Other than that, great :)

God Bless,

Aaron

Wow
Nice production. I like the way it builds, catches its breath and then builds even higher. I can tell this one comes from the heart, Roy. Good job.

Thanks for dropping by
JT I took a look at your portfolio and emailed you from there. Grreat work all around. The artist pet thing was over the top. Very funny and so well done.

And now you're doing the music thing. Well based on your art you will be capturing all the major Genres to perfection.

at the foot of the cross
Like j2morrow says, the builds are really good. Overall, a fine production. Excellent sentiments for the weary sojourner.

Thanks Richard
So nice to have you stop by. It seems like a long time since I posted this song. I've been waiting to post an update because of some new equipment purchases. This song will get the full force of that gear. Maybe you could stop by again when that's done.

Thanks again

I like this
In the beginning, I thought your singing needed more "something." I love many voices as it is more exciting to hear. Nice job. Thanks.

I know the something that you're talking about
Like a singer...lol

Since this effort I've made some changes in the process of capturing my voice. I'm hoping that future attempts will have that added, umph or maybe more cowbell will do the trick. ;D
