Lyrics
Crazy (like Gary Busey)

As Harvey Daley
He was the last person killed on Gunsmoke
And in the 80s
His motorcycle crashed and his head broke, yeah
Then he recovered
And turned into a Lethal Weapon
He’s like no other
You never know what’s gonna happen

Yeah he’s crazy
Crazy Gary Busey
’cause I’m crazy (crazy)
Crazy Gary Busey

Like at the Oscars
Terrifying Ryan Seacrest
And gettin’ freaky
When he kissed Jenny Garner on her neck, yeah
Ask him a question
(and you’d better ask it loud and clear)
Proceed with caution
You know Mr.Busey can smell your fear

’cause I’m crazy (crazy)
Crazy like Gary Busey
Oh yeah I’m crazy
Just like Gary Busey

He’s not Buddy Holly
He’s not the big Bopper
He won’t sell your organs
Or shoot you from a chopper
Maybe he’s harmless
This Hollywood Nero
Well it doesn’t matter
’Cause he is my hero

Yeah I’m crazy (crazy)
Crazy like Gary Busey
Yeah I’m crazy (crazy)
Just like Gary Busey
And we’re crazy
Crazy like Gary Busey
’Cause I’m crazy (crazy)
Crazy like Gary Busey is
Crazy Gary Busey

Just seeing the picture was enough to crack me up. I think you may be crazy like Gary Busey but you certainly are talented and very creative. This is fun and I enjoyed it! Thanks for the smile!

What I said before
minus the stuff about not actually hearing the vox... but this is how I imagined them.

Still cool, Cipher.

weird lo-fi vox... not so sure that works well, its very muffled and hard to understand... but definite crazy lyrics for a crazy guy :-)

killer
what a great song. Love that pic. A gum line from the grand canyon.
The lyrics had me smiling the whole way. The uber cool groove you create with the fuzzed (guitar/synth?) over the drivin bass creates an excellent bed. Groovy

Very funny
Without the lyrics I wouldn't have been able to understand. But, great song, really funny.

something special
I love the paired voices - I think it's this odd mix of high and low vox that makes the song stand out as something different - something special.

Granted, it was difficult to understand the lyrics. Yet, after I read them, the next time I listened to the song I picked them up without problem.

The chorus is delightfully infectuous - very catchy! But perhaps it could use an insane guitar break solo to momentarily divert ones attention from the bizzare vox?

Forced ukulele lessons in grade school threatened to forever destroy any chance of me growing to love and make music. Mercifully, the hatred of stringed instruments dissolved during adolescence, along with my innocence and respect for authority. Ente... [see more]
