Hi Bill
As much as I enjoy your original pieces, it is also very satisfying to hear your renditions of some of the classic literature. This is so nicely produced, too. just a great listening experience all around.

Wonderful
Beautiful. I'm with with krystyjo on this -- I always enjoy your compositions, and I hope you never stop writing them, but it's also a real pleasure to hear your interpretations of the classics.

Great sound! I'm really impressed.

Thanks
cc, this was a lot of fun, but a very challenging piece because of the patterns involved. I think I understand why Isaac will go down in history as being one of the great composers of all time. Plus he brings a culture that can hit home in it's impact to the soul. At least I think. It's the delicacies that move me about classical and easy listening.

I remember being so influenced by my parents listening to Mantovani. Though because of rock music like soft classical romantic , goes out the door in much of today's generation. But in the depth of my soul, there is sooooo. . . much to give in this type of style. Whether it be solo or orchestration.

Sure I love a lot of the great hits of rock form time past. I remember such incredible moving melodies of pop classics and romantic classics to really respect their influence.

And I guess it started with the soft sound of Mantovani playing on my mom and dads light teac type stereo speakers. I think they were brass color legs, with a material cloth fabric over the speakers. Cabinet type, with a door that lifts up from the type to expose the LP record player. I think it was in the hallway towards the front door. I think it was laying (legs) on spanish curved fancy net tiles that were a medium-dark brown that my dad and I installed !

The tiles were indeed incredibly spanish style. Here is the spanish<< pattern:

I was just reminiscing :)

Thanks again cc !

Fantastic Playing!
Loved it. Beautiful melody! This really is a classic unlike some I could name. What guitar were you using? Sounded like it had to be nylon strings.

Performance
Enjoyed your performance very much. This Spanish Tango piece makes remarkable use of the guitar as melody, harmony and rhythm instrument. And your versatility shines as you play.

Thanks

interesting
and beautiful. Do you play with natural nails? I've heard you do some terrific stuff on steel string acoustic (which I find destroys my nails), and then beautifully play technically challenging classical pieces - you gotta be a pro. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks dv
I do play with regular nails, unless I break em doing tile work etc. I wish I could be pro enough to make a fortune with music but not yet :)

If my nails break, I use ping pong balls and cut em up and put them under my broken or short nail ! The trick is to be quite enough to get the nail fixed quick before it gets to broken.

Thanks for stopping by and the comment !

As nicely played as this is...
...what stands out for me on my first listen is what a deep and beautiful tone you're getting from the classical guitar...Some classical guitar recordings sound "all nylon--no wood"...this has depth, space and resonance...

Really nice, Bill...
