Show tune flair
I love the almost Vaudeville showtune feel, the sense of drama, almost like a player piano roll set up as a film score. Very entertaining and well done.

you're a genius
Whenever I come across music I would have never been able to conceive of myself, when it's so unique that you have to listen twice to believe it, then you know it's another post by Haribo. Also it gives me the opportunity to tell you once again how much I appreciate the fresh energy and tremendous talent you show in every one of your posts.

The beginning theme and more 'classical' part evokes images of a traveler journeying through life, bringing forth the lyrical quality of the emotional progression from youthful, timid to serene and happy until 'BLAMM' he runs into Mario Bros - things go South quickly after that! And going by the title - why not have the the restless staccato 'modern' energy be the culprit, disrupting the peaceful journey and inviting misery, starting a tug of war between...oh what am I talking about!

Seriously though, big fan of your music, thanks for posting here!

"New" music
I've always found it difficult writing "new" music, something that hasn't been done before. Most of the music i've written is addicted to certain genres. I sometimes say to myself: "Well, now your going to do something totally new, turn everything upside down..." but I'm always stuck to the old traditions.

Your music is so free and original.

Enjoy the modern way this moves
you really sound like a high caliber pianist. What an original sound piece of music. Almost like something Gene Barry could dance to!

Thanks for sharing, especially with this incredible strucure.

this is so inventive and creative, it's kind of hard to find words for comment. I can only begin to imagine how your musical brain comes up with this stuff, but it is SO well done and such fun to listen to! Great work haribo - congratulations!

Yes,
a mood of reflection. It is as if you are parsing out an experience and deciding if indeed, it was as bad as you thought it was. I think your decision is that it was better than you thought. What terrific playing! A very bright and thoughtful composition by a skilled musician. Thank you.

Satie like
As others have said, very wonderful and inventive. Schizophrenic, even. Kind of has a Satie vibe going on; same kind of unorthodox wit mixed with beauty. Always a treat to hear your music.

such a delight
First the only negative critique I have, the staccato FF hits on the piano sound very synthetic, and detract a little from this, because they don't quite sound like a piano. And the reason I mention this is because I totally adore this, very refreshingly unique. You stay closer to the Classical/Romantic era in this than in some of your more modern pieces, and although it veers dangerously into Impressionism at times, the result is still wonderful to my Classical-loving ears. Gorgeous composition and playing, BRAVO! I just hope you can get a better piano-sample to play this with (or record it live)... this deserves to reverberate off of real wood, real hammers, real strings.

Drakonis

This is a very dynamic and passionate piece. I'm interested about the title since I hear a lot of playful and joyful emotion in it... well until the end that is. Maybe the joy is the company part?
