Lyrics
Die Nachtigall, die war entfernt, der Frühling lockt sie wieder;
was Neues hat sie nicht gelernt, singt alte, liebe Lieder.

The nightingale has been far away, springtime lures it back again;
it didn't learn a new tune, sings the old, beloved songs.

Exquisitely done Andreas
Welcome to Spring in Germany my friend, it's nice to hear you're having a bit of a thaw there.

This is just what I've come to expect from you Andreas, music for the season that is perfectly done and sounds wonderful. Thank you for posting this lovely piece, and Kudos to all who participated in your tribute to the joys of springtime.

Lovely
I used to live in your neck of the woods (just outside Stuttgart). I arrived in January, and that was hard! I still remember when Spring arrived, and how beautiful it was. A great musical tribute to my favorite time of the year! Terrific performances, and great 'Bird-training'! Kudos. Nicely done. Peace.
