Hardware and Mayonnaise

In the kitchen,
Curses sizzle on the frying pan...
...She has to cook again.
Her anger spills all over the counter,
The vehemence shattering plates and glasses.

She sweeps her resentment into the trash,
Paying for this hardware
Again,
With scrubs,
Steam,
And scalding,
While the faucet spits
Rust on her hands,
Eating through her fingers
To make them weep towards the drain.

She gathers these tears
To buy one new dress
Below the basement sale,
She she can go out with the girls.

He gallops over long-distance,
Cloaked in a cashmere promise.
She grips his reins
With ripped nails,
Stripping off her apron to run.

Well this is different
I wasn't sure what to expect when I read the "Lyrics", but what I listened to was not what I expected. I like the poetry, and you very unusual backdrop for it seems to add to the anger and frustration in the words. I'd say this was very well done by both of you.

Kudos for experimentation and courage,

Ed

Whoa!
This is unusual. Great quality to the voice. Love the metronymic drum beat in the background. The ambient stuff over the top is pretty strange, but helps with the general feeling of discombobulation.

Interesting!

Great!
Some haunting music here, in part reminding me of Tangerine Dream (early days, of course). The poetry is very good and well spoken. I just wonder if it doesn't come out a little bit too fast? OK, the rapid flow goes with the content, but as a (foreign(?)) listener I don't quite get the chance to ponder what this is about, until it's over. So maybe some short pauses put in a couple of places would help. But again, this is more of a question mark than a "nit"...

Thanks for sharing!

Dig it!
Love the soundscape. It might be interesting to chop the vocals a little bit and play with some effects to better embed them in the song.
