Lyrics
Stuck inside my bed
Stuff I know nothing of running through my head
A love I long I lost
Left me here maybe they just forgot...

Just let me out of here
I want to get out of here
Just let me out of here
Please I want out of here
Just let me out of here
Please just let me go...

Now I'm by myself
Gazing cross a lonely room tagged inside this cell
Bordum sets on in
Never learned or thought of fear haven't even seen a year...

Dig it
I dig this a lot! This carries the Texasfeel feel that I've loved since first I heard it some four years ago. At the same time a new feel has also entered ... more meek? ... a couple of years more mature? .. or more of someting that I can't put to words. Whatever it is I, like it a lot. Your songs are big favs on my iPod, and I am so happy to have a new one. Thank you!

sometimes what...

we don't intend ends up being our best... and this is right up there with your best John. I've missed hearing you vocals... this is a great stage for your singing. Subtle and sweet song. I am only impressed... great music.

does anything ever turn out like what you had in mind? really like that intro. this is a nice smooth, first cup of coffee in the morning type of sound. very warm and inviting, guitars are so tasty.

Nice vocals
The line "Please I want out of here" was particularly gripping.
The electric lead is quite tasty and the vocals harmonies worked very well.

Oh, and you rocked that solo!

Very nicely done!

Outta Here
This is commercial quality. The riffage recalls lots of stuff, but is still way fresh. The guitars create a complex weave.
The lead break snakes along with evil intent and I like that. Can you really make it more nasal without loosing the ring? Great job.

You make it sound easy
I couldn't be happier than to hear you sit down with a new set of strings, Tex. Very, very nice tune. Vox is on pitch, harmonies very nice. I really like the fluid soloing in the latter half, you make that fretting sound effortless.

Cool stuff....
I really love the kind of ambient and amorphous intro... The production is very even and clear... Good, unstrained, natural vocals.... Nice acoustic and electric tone, and the lead has a nice sting and good taste...

Sounds Like You Escaped...
... through the writing and performance of this song, John.

It's an interesting blend of the quiet, contemplative acoustic section and the the raucous, frenetic electric section --- sort of like a collaboration of James Taylor and Jimi Hendrix. Nicely done. ;)
