A perfect song
for the season, and sung with such clarity. The harmony you've written to accompany the melody is a perfect addition.
Peace.

Beautiful Beauty
your voice is so astounding mysti - being a (bad) low alto with a range of about 5 notes, i'm just amazed when i hear a voice get up there like this, so perfectly and effortlessly. thank you!

striking
in its clarity and richness. Mysti you have such a pure and unadulterated voice. I was instantly familiar with this tune as I think it comes up with the choir at church now and again. Now I know its name and have heard it like never before. The harmonies were heaven sent.

Well... WE still sing this one....
And it's one of my favorites....

I enjoy hearing the sweet tone you bring to this, and the subtle harmony... You manage also to have wonderful diction/enunciation without sounding stiff.... Another way to say this is that you have a nice flowing quality without ever sounding sloppy....

I really think your singing, at least to my ears, has grown over the time you've been at MacJams... I think you were always gifted with that voice, but your ability to bring forth that gift has grown...

A very three dimensional recording over the speakers.... I can't wait to try it over the headphones...

Good as it gets.
I've said it before and I'll say it again: How many words does the English language have for "beautiful?" That's how many you deserve here in the comments.

Delightful treatment of this song Cat. There is so much skill you have in putting this together from performance to arrangement to production. A pleasure for our ears.

Awesome!
Your voice works so well with this hymn and just makes it soar. I LOVE your harmonization too. It doesn't sound familiar - did you improvise it? My only quibble is that I wish the harmonies were louder. They sounded so good! Harmony shouldn't hide behind the melody, it should support the melody. Anyway, just a thought. I love it as it is. :)
