No wonder your lonely…
Hey J, what da ya say. Still pushing through the gloom?
Sunshine mosta the time he’s Superman in the Romper Room.
Toady Jody don’t ya know he finally stole a clue.
Changie hopey poor King Opie busted honking glue

I say, jump the shark, drink the sparks, smell the dark
Signifying how to give the music room
Get funky Sock Monkey just remember to leave your kids a broom

To win your case change your face, head west out on the main
You gotta bike? Do what you like, peddle yourself sane
Rock-n-roller, heavy stroller, like a rubber neck giraffe
Blind sight, a dark light more nuanced now by half
Xallarap

Mind gap some kinda trap to set that sweet soul free
Accelerate, don’t instigate, you is what you choose to be

Ste in the House
Thanks for dropping by, that line is a nod to a Leon Russell tune. Might help ya to dig the rap.

Appreciate your support. Maybe this shows new things can still be found. I thought this one fun after I finished the guitar solo.

Kids Are Alright
Perspective is the central theme.
Parallax is the starting point, the changes demonstrate the notions expressed in the lyric.
Global warming is causing the snow in Florida... and Dallas... xallarap!
Thanks for stopping by for a listen Pat.

You jazz guys like inside jokes. The fun part would be hearing you explain exactly what that line means to those for whom it was created.
I did my best to include everyone... who did I miss? You ready for the Fun House?

Hello Jack
"Sock Monkey", as it is used here, is common.
Parallax and xallarap are words from astronomy and logic. As mentioned above you can wiki to get some help with the concepts. "Jump the shark", and most of the other constructs should be in wiki as well. No new words...
Thanks for stopping by for a cup of sparks...

Xallaruff, ruff
apogee whiz, this is like a jello salad in a centrifuge.
Chords are smeared, Rhythm is huge.
Way over my head, I'm just one Stooge.
However, there's a lot of Daug throughout, and the dog at the end made me smirk. Wild Daug-sled ride.
ttfn,

I think you invented a new genre here, spoken word over jazz fusion. Interesting chord progressions here, and I like the solo guitar and piano stabs. The only nit I have is that some of the words are getting lost for me - could be my cheap speaker. You should post the lyrics, what I can make out sounds really creative.

Words are up, best as I recall anyway, I just went for it. Now that I have listened to the thing I guess that voice is per Jack Nickleson?
Thanks for listening so well...

Guitar was my tele Wolf and a Dauged Fender Amp direct.

Hah!
This really cracks me up! Kind of ingenious in a delightfully sick sort of way. Guitar soloing over that running baseline and beyond is positively psycho. Big fun this!

Good Daug!

Very cool
I already commented on this and yet again, it didnt go through, man that is toilsome. Anyway, this is a cool track... kinda zappaesque rock jazz action. Very cool changes. Love that fat bass tone, mammoth. Enjoyed it, ROCK ON!

Yes Charles
Wx was cool, I never think of anything when I make something. I just capture what is in my head. I would suggest Bolin, Buchanan, Fagen and Becker before Zappa, but I won't complain, FZ is good company for me.
Thanks for your enthusiastic support Charles.

X-Rap
Dug this when first posted but got distracted and didn't comment. This reminds me of Dylan's "If Dog's Run Free" and also channels Mose Allison. All good in my book. Great lyrics and ring a ding swingin.'
Much enjoyed.

I've noticed that you do some really interesting panning on some of your leads and other instruments. Cool effect.

this is a very interesting creation - it is so 'out there' that it almost sounds like elevator music plus the voice-over to a tv commercial which is telling you how to operate your washing machine. the lead guitar break is sensational and totally at odds with the groove of everything else - i love how you do that...the sustain guitar at 2.12 is again superb. great percussion too daug. wow this is a great track. ha....that dawg he get everywhere. love this.
