Eden's Gate

Eden's Gate was an instrumental I did in 2008, the track took on a life of it's own when Daniel Staniforth (Luna Trick) asked if he could do a vocal on the track, of course I said yes, I had know idea that it would be as successful as it turned out..Shortly after that Cees Swert from the Netherlands and Tom Chanti from the cube New York did a video for the piece both being animation people the vid was also well accepted and really was a fine effort...

I have never uploaded the instrumental here and feel it should be on my page, so this is what the base track is, now that Luna is no longer here finding the vocal will not be possible...

I probably should have remixed this as there are some unequal volumes threw the track, but I did not want to be bothered at this time..

Lots to like here. Plenty going on and I would have loved to have heard the vocal version. Almost jazz prog if there is such a genre. Good stuff. Cheers mark

Excellent Dave
Your work here surely deserved the attention of some of those highly talented people you mention above. This is a mighty fine chunk of exhilaration here! Probably not the best thing to listen to before trying to go to sleep! Thanks again--and thanks for being such a loyal friend. Take care now, Michael

Eden's Gate looks entrancing...

I remember your piece with Daniel, it was awesome. The instrumental is mega cool on it's own, there is so much going on, yet so well structured. Ummm, still enjoying your vacation Shadowman?

Eden's Gate
Great track, I can hear this as a background to an action adventure flick. Driving beats, great complementary sound choice, production is top notch!

Outstanding Dave
and so was the video. Went to see it, and came back to hear the music only track. There's a lot going on in this, including a lot of naked energy and drive.

Very cool synth project my friend. I love it.

jazz Prog! very cool, easily could be on any soundtrack looking to create intense concentration on some type of action scene w/o dialogue, does that make sense? well I know what i mean...great post!

very cool instrumental...
Dave, this stands well on its own without the vox. A potpourri of of musical elements that just keep interweaving and expanding and changing. I like it!

Thank you Dave
for posting the instrumental version: I like it a lot. I can hear a little Alan Parsons too but this is wholly ShadowMan.
