The penultimate song from that musical I always dreamed about writing.
Just a simple love song. Maybe you will like it...or can relate.

Falling In Love With You
Well when it's finished, that's a musical I'll go and see. Beautifully and professionally done. Your voice is wonderful, ideally suited to the song. What a great song. The bridge is particularly nice. You have a knack for simple orchestration (love the oboe in the intro) that compliments the dynamics and accents all the right places of the piece.

Very much....
...the musical. Really fine, Paul. I love the dissonance behind the melody.
Funny about the lyrics: if you need to write them down, for a musical, then you're in trouble. Crystal clear.

How lovely!
Not only the song, and it's sentiment, but to see a new post from you. I just sent you an e-mail and when I logged in, here you were! How's the rest of the musical coming?
Cheers.

The dream musical -
This has a nice flowing melody, and the words are clear and easy to understand, as you noted. Just right for a musical. Your orchestration is playing a great supporting role here. Lovely!

Haven't I been telling you...
...that you need to do a musical?

Or... or, at least a dinner cabaret show kind of thing....

There are all kinds of show tune loving true romantics out there who would go to see this...

warmth
this is beautiful and certainly star quality. the orchestral accompaniment has a lovely warmth, a subtle glow underneath the sweet piano and vocals. i think this would blossom even further with a counter-melody vocal, or some background harmonies. this is sweet and soft and your vocal performance is perfect. very nice paul.

Oh Paul, this is beautiful!
This couldn't possibly be any better--and your VOICE! TO be honest, I'd forgotten what truly accomplished singer you are; what a superb tone, and even those high notes have a nicely balanced weight to them--how you do dat?! At this point, I'm semi-convinced you are a refugee from Broadway, just here to see what the simple folk do (that reminds me, you didn't write "Camelot" by any chance?). Seriously brilliant work on this!! Michael
