Lyrics
she lives in london
a magnetic girl
has flown across the sky
she left her things behind
her image of the new world
left her light
she lives alone
it rains confetti tears
multicolored droplets of sunshine
comes in the fog of morning
walks up the stairs
just to meet her smile
but you can't tell me
she's always serious
science and her numbers
fill the void
she takes the underground
to throw off all the starlight in her eyes
she lives in london
she taught me everything about
energy and masses
so sublime
drawn by her gravity
she's always headed somewhere in her mind
she calls no where home
warmed up by the rings of saturn
the path she takes
technology aside
comes in the fog of morning
walks up the stairs
just to meet her smile
but you can't tell me
she's never serious
science and a chemistry survive
she'll go out dancing
just to prove a point on patterning
take a long trip on a big plane
takes her to some one kind
its a trip that never super novas
not in the black hole of her fertile mind
never ventured never scene
through it all
she knows the queen
but you can't tell me
she's always serious
science and her numbers
fill the void
she takes the underground
to throw off all the stardust in her eyes
but you can't tell me
she's never serious
science and her chemistry survive
she'll go out dancing
just to prove
she knows the queen...

Very nice
I like the intro with the single guitar and the change to the heavier electric guitar sound. The chord progression sounds cool. Very fine songwriting and production.

Just came back to say I REALLY dig this. The lyric is wonderful. Great emotive singing, and stream of conciousness flow. Totally original sound. Wish I could rock like this! Welcome to NJ, btw. I'm gonna pimp this in the forum, and mebbe get ya a few more listens. This deserves to be heard.

wow great song
Lyrics are very solid, I love how you play with volume here. One thing: I'd love for the vocals to be a little higher in the mix.

Great work

the mix
yeah, i know there are some details to be ironed out, one thing i like to do is have others lay their ears on it so i can then hear it through their ears. thx for the thoughts and you are probably right. things change when they get filtered through the compressors and i just need to make the adjustments

Psychedelic
lyrics and a 70s rock/pop crossover sounding backer. Really cool mix of ideas in this one. A smorgasbord of metaphors and imagery.

I think the vocals are a bit muffled sounding though. I don't think the vocals are necessarily low in the mix but more lacking in the airy frequencies. I will PM you with a couple ideas that may help.

by the way
its nice to hear from someone that not just listen but starts to see what is being said, those metaphors are what makes writing fun, and listenable for my students, although they seem to get everything, which makes having any conversation with them kind of like trying to out trick each other, which is a good game for writing lyrics in the first place. pls, come again, ii will be posting all the work i did this summer, as well as the stuff i have all done on GB

Nice thick guitars.
I'm a fan of the soft/heavy arrangement myself so I'm digging this very much.
Cool lyrics and a really good tune man

Power-power-powerful-perfection
I love it from the opening notes, and the blend of distortomatic and jangleriffic guitar-o-chugging. As well as the lo-octave emphases and those touches of water-wavy guitars later in the song. Powerful drums, sooo great -- love those chorus crashes. If you don't turn on that download button -- how DARE you not give it all away for free?! -- then you need to tell us where to BUY this!

YAY for the DL button! Thanks!
Cool, I see you found the download button -- THANKS for this GREAT TUNE!!!

As far as ratings, I don't see the point enabling them OR rating others... it's too much of a hassle for me when I can just let you know with words. That's just me, of course. Thanks again.
