Description
Nova are two young Brits who contacted me and wanted to collaborate, Jeff PM'd me on Facebook. Nova are a folk rock kinda band...The two of them have a rather cool home studio...

They asked me to send anything I was working on and they would see if they could add to it, the result for me was extraordinary they did not try to dominate the piece but just added tasty touches that really filled the piece out..The piece finishes with Jeff and Brent and me on Piano..I wanted them to have a highlight spot...This went threw many incarnations before we settled on this version...

Jeff Wenworth all Guitars & Bass
Brent Cumming Mandolin & Banjo
All Keys & Percussion,Production & Mixing Shadow

collab with nova
haha this was interesting how it developed, the deep synth-y sounds had me on one page, then i looked at the genre puzzled, but it came together quite nicely, liked the structure of this tune and some really nice blends of instrumentation

You know I am a fan of your stuff. This is a bit different in form and feel; interesting in a different way. I found myself wondering where it was going, and I like that.

This sounds like a good time was had by all who were involved! I especially like the piano...(what a surprise) and the banjo & mandolin. NICE JOB!!! p.s. Jeff, I liked the guitars and bass too - don't want you to feel left out!

Has a more
delicate feel than your usual posts, but it's still a really cool sound with a contemplative feel, as has been said. Quite Cinematic, regards M

intro sets the stage for take-off
The crispness of the mix sings in my headphones as the sparkle of the banjo tickles my fancy. The wah-bass catches my attention then relinquishes control for the piano and other effects to float by. Inventiveness in composition and deft touches in effects set this apart and make it a delight to experience.
