Description
This is a reimagining of Smokey VW's recent piece 'Regrets' http://macjams.com/song/64946

The picture is of our cats ski and pop

we have just found out that ski - (the brown tonkanese on the left) is very sick...this pic was taken the other day as they were both watching the world

i reworked Bill's piece using soundforge utilising some backwards reverb and pitch shifting using similar techniques to my previous post (a reworking of magnatone's 'farewell')...however, on this occasion i did not add any extra instrumentation

i think these reworkings of karens and bill's music fit together really well in regards to the reflective and melancholy mood they evoke

thank you Bill for the beautiful piece of music and for letting me post this version

Dreamland evoking to be sure!!! Great job as always.
Hoping ski is OK. Always tough when our critters are sick or hurt! They mean more to us than we realize.

Brilliant - absolutey brilliant
Bryn - I'm so sorry to hear about ski. I remember when Bill posted Regrets and how moving it was. You are right that this a companion to Lamtumire. Your treatment here is beautiful and respectful. You're ending the year with some very powerful and gracious work.

I need
to brush up on my vocabulary skills because I can't think of the right words to describe how this feels. It's very evocative, and it isn't all dark. There are glimpses of light in this, too. The production is very clear and powerful. I wish the best for Ski. Very sorry to hear about that.

hi bryn. very cool soundscape. i write this having cleaned up fifteen cubic litres of cat vomit off my prized berber kelim that i smuggled from morocco. hope your cat gets better soon....and more importantly that mine does too. anyway back to the track. i love the reverse reverb, and the simplicity of what you have in front of you. very atmospheric and perfectly mixed. cool.

Do you have a day job?
I mean, you and Bud must be working on tracks full time, the amount you write and post. Takes me 3 months to do a track if I'm quick...
Anyway, this has a real sense of darkness and tension. I'm reading The Silent Land, and this makes a great soundtrack.

Sterling work Bryn, long may you continue to create

gorgeous!
This is so nice! Love the high-end hall sound especially. Such nice changes in the music, and they aren't ruined by your gorgeous fx either, rather they are enhanced into something more subtle and tantalizing. Great job both of you, and I will be thinking of Ski.

Coolness
First let me say - I'm so sorry to hear that Ski is sick. I sincerely hope that things are not too serious and Ski will make a full recovery.

This is a such a interesting piece, haunting yet lovely.

Special..
full of emotion. I sure hope that Ski can be helped. Cats are so stoic and brave. Life evolves and this moves through seasons of sound. Love it. Thanks.

black
I thought Smokey's piece was already pretty sad, but yours is even darker. Nice job on the electronic re-imagining.

Spinechilling
This has at once a comfortable rumbling, rolling rhythm but the tonal quality is quite haunting. I hope your cat gets better.
