Description
i did two so the disc jockey could go take a quick potty break.

the first one is way different then what you might expect from me. this was done for a music bed for a tv spot last summer. all keyboard work.

the second i totally re-did last sunday afternoon, after i decided i wasn't to hot on what i originally had composed

The second has a dark edge in it. They're both cool, but I vote for #2.

The second...
Is sooo so refreshing. That ultra high last note in the guitar choir went down my spine in one millisecond.
My wife liked the first too.

Vic Holman said 2350 days ago (February 17th, 2011)
Something for everyone
the ending on the second one was the main reason i re-did that song over at the last minute. it didn't have quite the climax on the original.

I like them both!
Both stand on their own quite well. Would make a good fade-out/fade-in to a radio program.

Thanks for sharing!

Cheers,
Jim

But I think the DJ is in trouble. He won't go for the potty break, he'll stand there and listen to these beauties and forget about the break :-)

Potty Break
I like how the first one made me have to go to the bathroom and then the second one made me feel good about it.

So disc jockeys take potty breaks?

Nice stuff Vic.

I can hear both working well
depending on the mood of the show. I'm really starting to appreciate the skill it takes to bring so much mood to a short timeslot, and you demonstrate that skill clearly here.

Cheers Vic,
Doug

Yup #2

wins it for me .. nothing wrong with #1 .. but #2 has the layers and layers of geeetars! ;o) Nice one Vic... a parting that leaves the listener in a good mood .. that's a very desirable quality I would say for this kinda music.
