Description
A fresh recording (although it sounds like it might have played on an ancient Victrola) of my Windmill Rag (1991). I dedicate this to my favorite carousel, the historic one found in San Francisco's Golden Gate Park. Hope you like.

Real skill and artistry on display here. Lovely piece. Would love to hear this traipsing down the carnival midway on a late summer afternoon. Love the variation at around 2:50. Gonna download this.

as good a ragtime as i've ever heard, played as expertly as i've ever heard a rag played - thanks!

Nostalgic
lovely old time feel to both the music and the carousel. A lovely composition, and really like the flutes(?) introduced at 2.48 and the organ at 3:04.

Old rags, new rags
Love them rags! It does have that classic feel, though I didn't catch the carousel connection at first. It certainly would not be out of place on a carousel's Bandoneon. Going back for a second listen now...

Indeed this
feels like the carousel I remember. Very nice touches of antiquity you put in with the needle sound. As always your performance is flawless.

Very authentic...
Gorgeous bit of ragtime here, wonderful composition. I like the calliope and band slowly sneaking in here and there. I tried writing a rag piece (Caroline's Bear Rag posted here), and when I grow up, THIS is what it should sound like! Very nice.

You
acquitted yourself on a rag, no, you flew the rag with flying colors. So bright. Thanks.
