Love this. Great sonorous, wood and wire texture.
Fluid and soulful playing. Love the way you develop this melodically. Those modal bass runs are way cool!

I like the way you develop the piece. Generally you focus on melody then every now and then a flash of brilliant technique adds interest and variety. Love the ending! Much enjoyed.

Thanks Philip
The hammered on bass runs/riffs are deceptively easy in this tunning and I feel a bit guilty that they are a lot easier to play than people might think in terms of technique! I've been out of town so haven't replied to any comments yet but thanks to all those who have listened and commented.
Best wishes

Very much enjoyed...
Hi Steve. Open tunings give such a wonderfully resonant, full sound to acoustic guitars and you have achieved that here. They are also especially kind towards hammer-on, pull-offs and slides and you have made great use of these techniques in this piece. Very much enjoyed. Regards, Peter.

This is real nice playing. I love your hammer ons and open tuning harmonics. Lovely melody ... reminds me a little of early Bruce Cockburn. Wonderful stuff!

Love playing acoustic guitar especially in open tunings (CFCFCF being my favourite). Every so often I’ll have a go with my electric guitar and even more rarely try to sing. Collaborations: Glen Byre (Celtic) with Seathatch who really enhance... [see more]
