Description
I was waiting for a long time this ominous date (11/11/11) to upload my stuff in honour to Vishnu.

PLAY LOUD

Vishnu is regarded as a major god in Hinduism and Indian mythology. He is thought as the preserver of the universe while two other major Hindu gods Brahma and Shiva, are regarded respectively, as the creator and destroyer of the universe.

I knew
you would come up with something atmospheric and meaningful Harald... you do use your sounds, reverb etc to full potential..... for all this is full of India it also has the effect of taking us through the various 'Heavens' of Hinduism, love those chain-like sounds and air of expectancy before the 'releasing' bell........ really like this, regards M

mystic, your muse is as far reaching and diverse as your music.....this a surprising but also apt subject for the space race as it is all very cosmic..........good job

I know that this date for me signals a great change for some whether spiritual or the state of consciences of many, and I feel that this piece reflects that. There is an aura about this piece and your music. Thanks for sharing it with us. Well done!

0. 11.11.11. 0.
it is hoped that we have many more 11's to enjoy with Vishnu, before Shiva consumes all we know. Brahma has created a most intricate and beautiful universe for us to enjoy, and I am constantly in awe and enjoying it, every day. This day brings me your musical portrayal here, and again, I am in awe of the beauty. Thank you for reminding us of everything around us in such an elegant way.

Definitely worth the wait. So pleased that you were able to participate in the SRC. An excellent contribution. But then the Narad bar is very high, so no surprise. A novel take on the space theme. Great music, and educational, too.

Harald
once again, your work is inspirational for me. This is perfect. Subtle changes in your main synth pads throughout create an air of vastness and mystery, and the various other "lesser" elements add to this wonderfully. Cosmic can be the only description. Brilliantly mixed, produced and most excellent.

indeed!I have always thought there was something truly galactic about Indian mythology, just as Egyptian. This piece conveys that feeling in detail.

Thanks for sharing!

This is great
Not to say vast. Or voluminous. It's a most inspiring addition to this versatile challenge. The background reverberating "drone" is very much like what I would have wanted for my own entry, for example. Some details are very "Narad" (the reverb, gongs etc) but I can also hear development, maybe in a slightly more minimalistic direction? Very fit for a space track, either way.

The SRC would not have been complete without an entry from you, Harald. Thanks and take care.

You
take my breath away. Imposing composing centers thoughts on the grand scale of all existence. The bells signal the start and the end of an intense meditation, I imagine. Your sound is pure, pristine. Thank you.

This really sets the tone
Wow, the atmosphere of this piece permeates right through you. I'm entranced. That sound at 3:35 is creepy - sounds like someone sharpening a blade. Excellent sound bed and patient unfolding of the music.
