Who Killed Dorothy Kilgallen?

Description
Dorothy Kilgallen was one of the most famous Hollywood reporters to ever live. And was a constant member of the What's My Line game show. A very famous tv game show years ago. She was the first reporter and I think only one to interview Jack Ruby (JFK) murder infamy.
Here are some links about her:

Who Killed Dorothy Kilgallen?
Nice guitar playing and the bass is very comfortable in the mix. Interesting story and well put together lyrics. Like your vocals when you hit that low note. Enjoyed!

Good one Bill--very inspired subject matter (her death has been one of the great mysteries for so long I'm surprised no one put in song yet). Your always animated guitar work mixes really well with your vocal and lyrics. This has a very good "serious" yet "quirky" style to it that in a way makes the questions posed in the lyrics even more darker somehow! Great job! Michael (PS: I've long suspected Kitty Carlisle and Bennett Cerf--he was such a crab!--had a hand in this mystery!)

I think there was indications of people being hushed
Here is an interesting quote from wiki:

"The National Archives has a file from 1978 containing a collage of newspaper clippings dating from that year that Jim Kilgallen sent to Louis Stokes of the United States House Select Committee on Assassinations. One was a "Page Six" item in the New York Post about Israel's forthcoming book noting that employees of the Regency Hotel on Park Avenue, the place where Dorothy Kilgallen was last seen alive, were instructed not to talk to Israel. But Jim Kilgallen, who continued reporting for Hearst until age 93, is not known to have commented on this or any other suggestions that his daughter might have been murdered."
For her contribution to the television industry, Dorothy Kilgallen has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame at 6780 Hollywood Boulevard."
Interesting that the employee's at the Regency were instruction to keep quite.

So the same thing could be with some of What's My Line Panelist" The moderator of What's My Line John Daly, was married to Chief Justice Warren's daughter. That is incredible when you think of it.
So there could be a very good reason why there is so much "slips are sealed" around W.M.L.

WKDK
Wild juxtaposition between the vocal and guitar styles. The guitar is far more sinister then the singing, and provides a unique feel for the listener.

Cool construction.

who killed...
Nice folk tune Bill, underscored by your considerable fingerstyle talents. Your use of a pause after the word killed got my attention right away - Killed WHO? Good device!

This reminds me of the kind of folk tunes out of the 60s. Most enjoyed!

wow
I hadn't heard about this story.
The JFK story seems to breed conspiracy theories.
Very interesting tune. I like the melody and finger style accompaniment.
great post!

I watched
What's my Line? I had no idea she suffered a mysterious death. This is strangely ominous. You could probably double for Boris Karloff's singing The Grinch Who Stole Christmas. That is some baritone. Thanks.

Intriguing
A dark and fascinating mystery, subject matter that is difficult to tackle in a song. This was the first time I've heard you sing and you did pretty well, Bill.

I don't think we'll ever learn the truth about WKDK... at least not until someone perfects time travel. ;)
