Description
Hi all, unlike "What a Holiday", this one hasn't been on macjams before so I could say it's new although it's not. I even played guitar on this one! This song is also is the iTunes store but not many people know about it and I'd like people to enjoy this song during the holiday season. As with What a Holiday, if you feel so inclined to purchase it in the iTunes store, I say a heartfelt 'thank you' in advance. I hope this one adds to your holiday ambiance and hopefully, cheer as well.

Lyrics
leaves on the trees have fallen
birds up above are calling
arrival of winter’s just a breath away
stars so bright they light my way
the end of another year
the season of joy is here

it’s Christmas time
yeah Christmas time
help spread the cheer
oh what a time it’s
all I ever wished that it could be
open your eyes and you will see
what it can truly be
all it was meant to be
to you and me

families come together
to share in the joy and pleasure
of all of the things that help to warm the heart
the glow of the hearthstone plays its part
lift up a glass and pray
this spirit is here to stay

So, you are not only a great singer and piano player, you can play guitar pretty danged well too! Light and breezy, sweet progressions, and chocolate harmonies. Hearing new things from you puts a big smile on my face, Happy Holidays!

Are you ever not on macjams?!? Thanks so much for your comments. Glad you enjoyed it! To be more accurate I just played the rhythm guitar part, the lead was key-tar. Season's greetings to you and yours.

You have a distinctive voice
that works so well on this type of reflective, yet happy, song. I do like those recorders (or whatever they are) in the interludes.
