Outstanding! Be ready to think when you enter the Daug House! This will take multiple listens to wrap my mind around it! I don't know how you put such things together. I would have no clue where to start!

Hello Andrew
You could do it... there is really nothing to it, just respond to the source material.
You might just have to do some orchestration... have some fun and try one! Caution! You will be unable to go back to the old song forms.

like how the bass just chimes right along I was fixated by the bass more than the vocal even though some interesting dialog some crazy sounding leads on that guitar

You are one talented and strange musical dude. Again, this is insanely good. When the phone rings there are some sweet notes played ... organ is cool, is that a volume pedal on the guitar? Very cool bass groovin' under it all. Love those chromatic progressions. Excellent.
Happy New Year and thanks for all your support during my first year at MJ's'

Stan in the house
Strange? It sounds pretty normal to me, ah... I used to post strange/wonderful kinds of things, before the culture wars began in Nov 09, I took all those down, I make public service pieces for the MJ elite, lol ;)
My tele rig has an ancient Erie Ball "string" volume pedal. I'll never be able to switch to the fiber optics because of the "feel" on telecaster, I used the volume pot on the instrument as well as the pedal and gate to achieve the attenuation you hear on this tune. I have one of the new ones on the steel pedal rig, they work great BTW, just not in my tele rig...
I am looking forward to listening to the music in 2012, Stan, you have as bad a case of the Muse as anybody I take seriously around here. Thanks for stopping.

Daugrin said 2151 days ago (January 1st, 2012)
Hello Dave
Thanks for your continued support. Not chaos here, naw... I will take your comment as highest praise. Mind-altering music must be hard to make! This was just a little session between fellow travelers, Studds and Saul. I just added the contemporary musical treatment required to bring things up to date.
I am surprised no one spoke about the ride out solo. That's the melody from the vocal track on Harrison's "While My Guitar Gently Weeps". I thought that was fall out funny... but then, my sense of humor is a bit different, lol!

No, it's no game, it's your life!
Everyone needs to find out who these principals are... and why what is being said, and not said, are important to this POTUS, Occupy, Bill Ayers, Rev. Wright (long list of Mr. O's supporters) and/or "the movement".
I can explain, but that won't help, as much as if folks follow the clues and find out for themselves. If you need information, resources, or don't have a clue, PM, I will try to help, I will not do your homework for you.

Naw, ya got nothing. I'm on bass. What base are you talking about? First base? Base two? Please, take my humble advise, when you do dream, if there is any homework in the dream, wake yourself up and write it down, works for me... lol.

What a frenetic mix of soup to nuts, but the whole thing hangs together well. Nice musical choices and I got the While My Guitar riff at the end. Cool art with a statement.

Saul rules
I'd need like 3 filters to separate the layers and process this. All together is much enjoyable geniuses' madness, but I suspect there's more behind the intentional mangling (naw? ;-)
Pure acid.

Studds
I sat next to Studds Turkel on one of my many plane trips between NYC and Chicago a while back. (He flew econo-class). A delightful 2 hours. Well, I only talked to him for about 45 minutes, didn't want to bug him too much. He had reading to do. Still, funny and friendly, twinkling eyes, and a truly large heart.

While listening, I wondered to myself, is this the sort of music that goes on inside a true cat's head while conversing with ordinary people? I think, Yes.

A collage of many colors. Nice.

hi daug. you are a creative genius. les kloo is another. are you related? i love the cheeky and witty backdrop of cool synth and percussion over the dialogue. it hurts my head.....and fills it with joy at the same time. love the bachelor-pad bass line and the groove that comes after.
