Recorded this with a guy named Dan Anthony. My song, though Dan helped with the bridge. Brian Fullen on drums. This is pre-master.

Standing Outside
This sounds pro ... great vocals and instrumentation. I enjoy the guitars in the mix.
The change at about 1:40 ... nice ... like the bass in that section. Good tune
Cheers

great piece you all did
Many gems of alluring transitions and instrumental presentations to be found throughout your piece.
Just right voice. Love where it goes around 2:29. I'm a lyric reader, so miss them a bit; but will likely listen to enough so as not to need 'em. Thanks for download.

Standing Outside
Love the song and those acoustic guitars holding it all together. Great bass lines. Melodies all on their own. Tremendous vocals! Really great arrangement with lots of depth and nuance. Downloaded!

MOR Adult Contemporary
"Standing Outside", another great post! You deserve a much wider audience at MJ. Thanks for posting! Problems with the sentiments expressed? Yes. Yet the execution of the music is dead on... greatly respect the time and talent put into this piece by all concerned!
Purely from a commercial viewpoint, this sits comfortably about 35 years ago... sounds like yer trying to make radio ready music for a bag that is full to overflowing long ago, more edge, timely attitudes?

Fair Enough
A totally fair and honest review. Thank you sir. Can't say I disagree. This tune really doesn't sound like any of my other stuff though. Kind of dipping my toe in, you know?

I don't think
it is necessarily a disparagement when your music reminds people of something from years past. Great music can be timeless and celebrate a particular sound, both at the same time. And don't we all have a fondness for songs we heard when we were kids? Classics are just that. I enjoyed this. I wasn't reminded of any other song. I think it was new for me. :)

Don't know how I've missed your work before now!
Color me a fan! Your voice sounds a lot like Jackson Browne to me and he is one of my favs. Your style doesn't seem far from that either. That makes me a fan right off! Love it!
