It is, of course, lovely as is...
And the pace and structure have me thinking that there has to be harpsichord version lurking somewhere, which would probably bring out its only slightly latent Bachness.... It's a 'fun' piece, easy on the ears, but it's also very satisfying to listen to, as are all of your pieces. There's a sense that everything's in its proper place.

I think we have to start a letter writing campaign to Terri Gross or somebody and get you noticed... You will have to promise not let fame spoil you...

Musical Portal
A Lovely piece, Paul. It seems to begin in an era of powdered wigs and curtsies and winds its way quickly through a time tunnel and into Today. I like Ed's observation about a lurking harpsichord version, but I could see it transmuting from harpsichord to piano and then to synth, echoing my impression of time travel. ;)
