Channeling my inner Chopin...
No. 72 arrived a couple of days ago and suggested some quiet strings to help it ride. If you've been following these little piano numbers, this one will make its entire journey in just 2:11.
The piano score can be found here

Lovely lilting melody and the strings are beautifully warm. A delightfully romantic piece which I have added to my collection - with compliments to you for creating it and thanks for making it available!

This is Chopin at ease with himself and the world. Lovely lilting piece, Paul. The strings are just right. Fine post. Thanks, Peter.

So productive
I'm amazed at the way your creativity flows.

Once again a beautifully judged piece Paul.

I'm not sure the strings are needed but they certainly don't detract!

Cheers

Dick

Wow, beautiful.
I think I hear a number of influences here, even some jazz hints in places. It's an extremely graceful work and the playing is so expressive. Played it through three times and it was downloaded before it finished playing.

You said it right Paul, tunes or songs, do sometimes just 'arrive'.... this one, along with all your others just swept in beautifully.... you only had to play it ( Ha ha) and you did that beautifully too, regards M

Great combo
The strings are a great addition to this piano piece, which I think could stand alone without the strings. I am hearing lyrics -- I am hearing a choral piece, with this track as accompaniment. Yes, I do hear some Chopin influences. Well articulated and nicely recorded, too. The grace notes now and then are a beautiful touch.

It's getting on towards time..
...for that Paul Page video... Not one with your hands reflected in a mirror, 'cause someone else has got that niche nailed down, but I think your fans need that video of you just sitting down and playing...

I think one of the ongoing marvels of your playing, Paul, is that it manages to sound both disciplined and effortless. You never sound sloppy and you never sound like it's a strain to play.
