Good stuff! The bass line at 1.47 (for example) could be higher in the mix in my opinion!

Thanks for the suggestion
I appreciate the feedback - on my New Years resolution list - get some decent monitors :) I used Madrona's Aalto for the bassline and the low "vocally" part is Arturia Minimood with vocoder - higher vocals are SynthmasterCM with Bassline2 formant filter applied in channel strip.

You've done a good deed today.
Got me all fired up to install and use some of the many synths I have for GarageBand and Logic. Thanks for posting this.

I agree the bass is a little subdued in places, and I think it could do with a better ending. It's still got me fired up to play with some synths, so it's worth the extra work for sure.

Thanks!
Thanks for listening and I'm glad it gets you synching! The laundry list of synths in this one:
Echo bass - Madrona Aalto with chorus applied in channel strip
Rhythm guitar - Rob Papen Rhythm guitar synth CM edition (Magware)
Logic EXS24 Modular stutter patch
High vocallike synth - SynthMasterCM (Magware) with Bitfilter2 Formant filter (also Magware)
Low vocallike synth - Arturia MiniMoog with formant filter

If you don't have the CM (Computer Musician) synths, it is worth buying at least one copy of the magazine online just to download the tons of free plugins and synths. You can get CM on the iPad Newstand or if you don't use iPads, go to Zinio and download a digital copy. Either one gives you a download link and a way to download the CM studio plugins and effects for free. I think the magazine might cost you all of $5 online. The physical mag if you can find it, has a DVD attached to it but is imported from UK so usually costs a bit more.

I'm in the UK...
...so the magazine will be cheaper for me. I'm not sure if those plug-ins will work on my ancient Mac, but I may take a look. It's not as if I need any more synths, I have about thirty or forty of them, and some are very adaptable indeed, for example the EXS24 and the Korg M1 software-synth which can make a huge variety of sounds.

thanks!
Appreciate the listen. I liked the leads too. The high lead (SynthmasterCM) is a very cool Magware synth - maybe I'll spring for the plugin sometime.

Thanks for listening! This one was all desktop synths in Logic Express 9 - many of them free and a few commercial favorites.
