Description
I put this together over the the past two days ... I started with a guitar part and did the bass with my midi keyboard and GB acoustic bass ... then turned on the mic and scatted ... added some harmonies, I was going to use the scat as a freeform idea to find a melody to write words to but decided to leave it as is ... along with my poor whistling and finger snapping...

Love that guitar tone! The scat is fun; the harmonies rich. I like the sparse but purposeful drums. Solid bass. Finger snapping brings a smile to my face. Your work is always a delight to listen to, Stan. Excellent.

Hey stan, this is a really lovely track, great clean production and the scat singing is really well done. The little guitar line is truely haunting.

Fun...
This kind of improv is hard to pull off in a recording, but you seem to be abandoning all inhabitions as you chug through this number. The free and relaxed quality can't do anything except bring a smile to the listener. The danger is, of course, going over the same material again and again. at around 2:23 or so, you suddenly get away from the opening, and that is very pleasant to hear. Then you are back and I am wishing the number would make a greater departure from your original thoughts. The process of your creation is, though, very entertaining.

Interesting idea, and after initial hesitation I was really getting into it. The polyphonic scatting in particular is brilliant.

Fine musical exploration, Stan. Upbeat and infectious. It's nice to hear a song that is musically interesting and left open for the listener to interpret. Kudos. Take care, Peter.
