Serenade CLXXIII
What a grande piece! Different from some of your other pieces. What are you using for your orchestra sounds? Great job of the the percussive bits ... loved it Harald!

orchestra sounds
I commonly use orchestra strings from jam pack with akustiX and BlackWaterreverb. Thanks a lot your comment, Stan ! :)

Majesty
You've achieved quite a regal sound with the orchestration, Harold. Those strings esp. at the beginning have an elegant quality as they soar to the higher registers. This strikes me as a grand promenade with many elegant floats and an awestruck crowd watching the spectacle. I really like the "entrance theme" at around 3:15 and following. The episodic nature of this piece allows for all sorts of tangential but related scenes, all of which you have captured with some inventive and very pleasing orchestration and varied rhythmic elements. Much different than your train series...and equally appealing.

This is a grand sounding piece. Very nice.

The texture is kinda uniform: it stays grand with lots of low strings, and it stays in that mood. I was kinda hoping to hear that solo violin that you have a picture of.
