Another quick and simple one-synth jam from me, arranged in Logic and then some samples were added.

Cheers!

mynona maus counts to eight
she's a cute synth, but like most little girls, is much more of a grown-up on the inside than she seems on the outside. seemingly simple slow march, that gains so much momentum as it strides along. a wonderful listen, thank you. 0x0

A simple synth
As in simple to use, perhaps? Because you sure get some nice sounds out of it! I like the rather repetitious build which you still manage to develop in a way that makes you want to hit play again when it's over.

My brother had/has a band, Datahysteri (available in the Swedish iTunes store), which had a "hit" (in my book) called "Repetition is a form of change" (not yet in iTunes) and maybe the song changes or maybe the change is just in your head while listening to it, but it still works. Not saying this was quite as repetitive, but I couldn't help thinking about it ;-)

Anyway, always a joy to hear a new song from you.

Take care,
Henke

Henke
Thanks Henke! I like repetitive stuff :) Most effort went into arranging the short (simple?) melodies/sounds from the jam session. I didn't bother going back to refine things aferwards (the sounds were gone as well). I kind of liked the energy/flow of how it all turned out in the end so I thought perhaps someone else could enjoy it too.

I'm curious about Datahysteri (what a great name), I need to check them out when I'm back from vacation.

Yeah
The energy/flow is great, well done, I really like it. I noticed you had a German flag today. We're heading that way for our summer vacation too (Germersheim, near France) :-) Hope you're enjoying your trip! /H

Full of interesting and varied sounds. I like the way you develop the piece - there's some variety in the sounds and the arrangement. Much enjoyed!

I really
liked it. It might be great for an animated short. I saw one, once, where a creature just walked around the edge of a planet and you saw all the things it walked through...forests, oceans, cities, etc. It has a perfect beat for marching along. Thanks.
