Glad I could transport you to the island.
The last part of percussion you hear is actually play through out the entire song.
Good to hear from you

Has the feel of a sunny place! It flows along well, with lots of energy and enough variety in instrument sounds to be constantly entertaining. I enjoyed this one!

Lighthearted and positive, Steve. Always great to hear some steel drums. They almost define Caribbean music. Some nice jazz style changes. Thanks, Peter.

Take me to...
...the Love Boat. Great feel to this happy little tune. The choice of (xylophone...wooden tubular thingies?) is perfect for this and the bass line is absolutely wonderful throughout. Such an exuberant number...That guitar lead1/2 way through provides a brief escape from the piano that is tasty and perfectly placed in the structure of the number. You've created a little magic here and done it in such a tasteful manner. Nice.

I know a few musicians on the island, I took their sound then jazzed it up.
I have a few songs with that island , check them out when you have time.

Ahhhhhh...
Lovely island groove, a cool inverted samba... Floats along nicely, some neat planing in the changes to keep you interested in the direction, and relaxing enough to just soak it in. The nylon string solo is tasteful and perfectly stated. Lovely lovely work!

Oh,
this is lively. I ask, is it difficult to play drums? I wonder if i should get a drum? I know there's more to great percussion than just hitting things. I smiled throughout the whole thing. Thanks, Steve.

Drums
They are a lot of fun but can take awhile to master. But here's how I did it, that beat you hear at the end is the theme for the whole song all that is added is a few fills. That al!
https://plus.google.com/u/1/105546180027335654728/posts the link shows the drums i used in the song.
What you may want to do is search on google for midi drums some are finger trigger others are stick.
Forget about the midi just start making sounds, they also include beats you can use.
If you start using a midi drums kit let me know i would love to hear it.
Thanks again for y0ur comments!
