Description
Started with a classical piece motif (anyone know what the original composition is? I haven't been able to drag it out of my brain...), and improvised some vocals to it.
I sent it over to Bryn, who added some things, changed some instruments, did a better job of mixing it than I could...and I added a couple more harmonies.

So, here, in classic Sonic Magpie style, is whatever it is we've come up with this time ;)

thank you cat
for sending this for me to work on
a pleasure as always and it gave me the opportunity to test out logic x a bit more
i used the midi effects on cats original keyboard part, flex time on her vocals, added some retro synths and a few other subtle things
the simple approach to the instrumentation and the arrangement makes it all the more effective
and as cat say, this is 'classic' sonic magpie

6th, eh?
It's been too long since Music Theory 101....or 301, for that matter. I didn't hear the Neo-6th in this, but I did catch the thread you posted.
Glad to see I'm aiding the cause of cool chords :)
Thanks for stopping by, Al. Nice to see you hereabouts, again!

Lovely voice!
Very intimate and beckoning... I can't place the classical motif either, I was thinking Dvorak, but I don't know. Anyway, compelling work!

Beautiful. I don't recognize the piece it's based on. But you sure made it your own. Lovely vocals and the layering voices works wonderfully.
