Lyrics
A well-dressed lady of a certain age, primly out for a morning's walk. Funny looking dog, no, she's collared a cat and none of the neighbours baulk.
Maybe it's me. Oddball.

Time-stamped pictures pinned to a hedge I see. A secret camera snapping dogs. Lifting legs at close proximity.

A man on a desolate corner, dressed as a clown, balloons in each hand. His monkey mask forlorn, fairy wings worn, wearing a sign: please join my band.
Maybe it's me. Oddball.

You have a bit of a house music thing happening here. That bass line and sound rule! The sax adds great color and atmosphere. So good to hear Andy on a new track. Downloaded.

Post-modern disco
Compelling, inexorable groove... The sax work adds much soul... Darkly rich patina... This is really cool...

Great groove. Quirky lyrics. Some quality sax. A fine potpourri of ingredients. Catchy and engaging. Thanks for the post, Peter.

Maybe it's me?
I dig the pulse of this tune. The simple pounding/clicking drum beat is perfect for your grooving baseline. Great sound coming out of my speakers.

Thanks for another download, Oddball.

This tune catches you by surprise. It's cool, but you don't realize just how cool it is until it's over - then I was compelled to hit play again - I really enjoyed it - very distinctly retro 80's feel, with a very infectious groove thing going on - nice work man!

cool
weird admission: I generally don't like 4 on the floor kicks or saxophones. but I think they work perfectly in this track. that banging on a can sound makes the whole thing work great. and all that bass is a great choice. nice ambient touched really add to the vibe. nice track.

Cool
I'm trying to sort out a sax part for a PBGB song at the moment. This is rather inspiring. It all sounds great to me - I get a definite Blur feel - not at all a bad thing.
Great post.

Could be used as a Tarantino type soundtrack
...back when Tarantino was a bit cooler anyway. The bass line is infectious indeed. The vocals have a sort of Thrill Kill Kult feel, but not derivative of what they do at all. Not over played at all and can be listened to more than once... excellent mate.
