I Love To Watch You Sleeping with Mosaica

Description
'I Love To Watch You Sleeping' was written to be performed as a classical song in a parlour situation. I needed someone with beautiful vocals that could bring this to life in that way and wow did I find her!
Rosalind's voice is absolutely perfect for this classical song and she has breathed life into it. I am so happy with the end result and I say this,"Rosalind! You are an angel!"

Lyrics
When the day has given all that I can take
I love to watch you sleeping
One by one my thoughts grow strong, I
Love to watch you slee-ee-ping

I remind myself of moments in your eyes
And smile while you are sleeping
Taken by your peacefulness
I love to watch you slee-ee-ping

On a cold dark night
Warm inside
I love to watch you slee-ee-ping

When the morning comes and sun smiles on your face
I love to watch you sleeping
Feel this breath upon your brow
I love to watch you slee-ee-ping

As I think of lovely nestled close to me
I love to watch you sleeping
This, one day, will all be gone
Together we’ll be slee-ee-ping

Taken by your light
Warm inside
I love to watch you slee-ee-ping
Slee-ee-ping

I Love To Watch You Sleeping
It is great to hear you two working together, Christopher. It is also great to be able to access a wide variety of music on MJ. Rosalind does a very fine job and you have captured the parlour atmosphere wonderfully well. Thanks to you both. Regards, Peter.

I love to watch you sleeping
Certainly has that "in the parlour" old-fashioned feel to it. I like the introduction of the strings - they warm things up. Rosalind's voice has a lovely tuneful lightness that suits the mood of the song perfectly. Delightful!

a true classical number
The whole form of the number is so classical in form, the addition of the strings around 1:08 just enhancing the elegance of the tune and providing a nice embellishment to the piano at that moment. I love the simplicity of this number and the fact that you did not mess it up with overbearing orchestration. It is perfect just the way it is! Rosalind's vocal performance really brings this to life, too. It is just so pleasant to hear all of this together: great performance, simple orchestration, gently classical form and tune. Just a delight to be sure.
