Description
One take each track...the knackered ole Yamaha PSR K1 and a Roland V Accordion FRS1X (Jury is still out ......but I can use headphones ,so the neighbours still talk !)Maybe should have picked a different reed set for the ackordeen, but only so much that you can do in an hour.......and have to say that half a yard of sticking plaster round me left thumb ( knife, basil, thumb interface )did not help too much ....still , grin and bear it eh what ?

Never a dull moment
with you Chris :-)

Every track you post is full of life and fun and in the end that's what it all about.

Loved the piano work and nice to hear you giving the accordion (is it really a digital one?) a workout.

Cheers

Quite nice
And well done for an hour's work! Has a live feeling to it, with the rough mix. Could be interesting to hear the studio version as swell ;-)

Thanks and take care,
Henke

Birthday blues
I like the rolling piano line. Good bluesy lead from the "ackordeen". An hour well spent, Chris!

Feel
I feel your pain. I recently did one of these one hour challenges. That said, this is great stuff for an hour. I especially like your piano bit. How could you record so many 5 min tracks in 1 hour?? Very bluesy. Thanks.

Sometimes
it takes an hour for my computer to boot up! This is, well, the blues. It's also an excellent piece of work. All in an hour. The accordion sounds like a real one btw, but I'm no expert in these matters.

Nice one sir.

Birthday Blues
Some nice blues piano, Chris. The fancy digital squeezebox sounds pretty good, too. I had the feeling I was sitting in an empty, low-key bar sipping on a bourbon listening to the duo in the corner. Thanks, Peter.

Very cool post Chris
The piano playin' sounds great. Tho' the ackordeen is a touch loud I think they work well together here. (Love the "thumb interface": hope you're well soon.)

Chris
I really marvel that you guys did a one hour challenge. Ax started another one, but after three hours I realized the train had left the station. How can one get a song and record it in only an hour?!! One answer is to do a blues improv as you did here. This really heats up at about the 2:30 mark. I think you got the feeling back in your fingers (LOL). I think the accordion is a bit too loud maybe, but you hit the mark pretty well with this.

I got the blues so bad….
I always have to smile when I think of these sounds coming from up North. This is great Chris. If you didn't have an hour's worth of fun with this one I'd be shocked. You'ill have to bring your instruments and the virtual lads round to our local pub some time. Thanks for the tune!

Great sound on the piano, so rich and deep and I like the combination of the accordion with it. Lots of atmosphere and very enjoyable with it's live feel.
