Water Ways
The video link didn't seem to work. But the music sure does. Beautiful sound. The fountain and bird sounds add great atmosphere.

More music from a brick patio
This just proves that inspiration can come from just about anywhere. I think I could lie in a hammock in your backyard and listen to you improvise for hours.
I watched the video and have to say that, as a video, it's not very thrilling: the only movements I see are the water, your fingers and your eyebrows ;-)

man, i have to give you props for the most unexpected backdrops. fortunately, they work with the music--and better still, natural.

Were you playing next to your fountain
On that last song... because I believe that's what I was picking up. A nice ambient sound to go with a relaxing melody. I especially liked the video because it captures the performance and shows no edit.

No edit
No edit, but a small cheat: at the end where i upright the flute i set it down on the stone, and there was an ugly *clunk* sound. so i pasted a second of later sound over it. But yeah, one take.

On my previous video the fountain was not yet installed. There you get a lot of street noise in the distance because it was recorded more or less during rush hour.

Water Ways
I didn't know you could play a solar powered water fountain :-) Calming, contemplative music! Thanks, Peter.

Very relaxing music and a serene setting. Good to see you perform this, Victor. I felt like I was sitting by the fountain with you. Thanks. T

Of course...
...you must be playing a Pete Fountain (nyuck, nyuck, nyuck) here Vic. Very soft and easy phrasing in your playing (I wish I could control my air flow in my vocals as you do in your playing here, very well controlled). Some very fine and relaxing noodling and the surrounding ambience (actual or not?) gave this a good earthy feel. Thank you for sharing it (and for the download as well!) Michael

Ambience
Yes, it's all real. Couple of birds calling, and I think some children. I'm happy you enjoyed it.

Water Ways
what a treat to have the video here. This song brings me some comfort in a currently challenging time. It's also just plain fun to watch you play that very difficult instrument - the tone you coax out of it is gorgeous. And I must add, the solar-powered fountain is icing on the cake! Thanks for the D/L

Perfect ambience
A wonderful immediacy about the playing and that ambience. Truthful and beautifully done.
