Lyrics
Going through these changes
Living day to day
These changing circumstances
Make it hard to find my way
I could use some guidance
I could use a helping hand

You know those slow days
Those days are really tough
And there's those fast days
When I don't have time enough
Time is like sand
It slips through my hand

SLOW DAYS
What a cool sound having the mandolin panned left and right ... the guitar sounds great and I like the light approach to the rhythm section a nice bass tone. Good lyrics ... well done!
Cheers

I'm glad you had time to record this
Probably one of my most favorite from you. I like how the mandolin brought out such a melodic guitar part. Your vocals really sound good, maybe your best. Nice message and solid composition.

A mixture of your fine Gumbo...Groove
rove you never know what your feel is going to be. So versatile an artist you are. The mesh of Mandolins and Guits are fascinating, different and real slick...

JazzIs, cool

SLOW DAYS
The mandolins certainly add a unique, almost country rock, vibe to the song, KC. Nice mellow leads, too. I really like this song. A keeper, for sure. Thanks, Peter.

Slow days
Love those jangling mandolins, nicely contrasted with the guitars. Drums and bass work well. Lyrics are thought provoking. Much enjoyed!

Ringing mando introduction
Somehow this reminds me of a 70s band, but I can't put a name to them - maybe Lindisfarne? What sort of mando are you using? It sounds fantastic.
Nice post Cees.
Cheers from Oz,
Neil

Jangly sound...
...from all those metal thingies playing so well in sync. Excellent choices for the instrumentation. Solid bass, percussion is just right, too. I like the long bridge but would have maybe placed it AFTER your second verse...and then written a third verse or repeating the first one. It's a nice song that could easily sustain another minute or so of music. Great ideas and a solid performance, too.

I love mandolins
I use my uke instead, but one of these days I'll get one. The inro to this is great - I like the guitars in the middle too. Nice one, KC.
