Description
shiva-shakti

Der Schöpfer lacht, o weiter Fluss,
im Auf-und Niedergang der Wellen,
nicht kennend Müdigkeit, Verdruss,
schöpft er am Ueberfluss der Quellen.

Die Schlangenkraft, die ewig zeugt und schafft,
mit Blut und Milch nährt dies' atemlose Spiel;

H.D.

The creator laughs, o further flow
In the rise and fall of waves
Not knowing tiredness, annoyance
He draws on the wellspring´s abundance

The serpent power, which conceives forever and creates,
with blood and milk feeds this breathless game;
in gigantic gestures she heaves, executor, the creative power
into the primordial confident, solely by her envisioned, goal.

To be like Him, who is her master in her lotus flower beds
and eternal playmate at the same time,
to whom the flaming stars do pray with fire and in fervor,
that He, the Invisible One, will once, be visible.

To be like You, O Divine in the making,
to be what was and not yet is, yet always there,
as river wide to die in your eternal seas,
in every heartbeat life becomes aware of its primordial source.

Something a bit different, Harald, which is always a good thing. The piece worked well but I found the spoken voice to be somewhat indistinct in the mix. Perhaps that was your intention? Thanks for the post. Regards, Peter.

Magnificent. I love the addition of the reading. Powerful music, and entirely appropriate to the the subject matter. Primordial.

Powerful!
Exceptionally profound, powerful and inspiring. I understand both languages, and the message is beautiful and transparent in its meaning in the original and translated version. Rare to come across a spiritual longing expressed to eloquently.

Your intense soundscape, of which you've become the torch bearer on this site it seems:) works sets a great background for the recitation. It takes you on a journey out of the ordinary and with all frequencies covered, it doesn't really give you a choice either!

On a technical note - I'd make the pulse softer during the recitation only - would be nice to hear the bass in the voice. What an excellent post though, this may be my favorite of yours so far.

...I think he nailed it all: startlingly epic music (your trademark?) and a sense of deep spirituality. This is a beautiful tapestry of sound. (I do agree with bringing the voice UP a bit in the mix. The words are important to the message.) Another beautiful song/prayer.
