Frosty Morn (Reworked)

Description
This is a reworking of the version I origonally posted. I went back and toyed with the levels, the balance, and varried up the instruments once I got the Orchestral Pack. It still comes in at just under 9 minutes. It's quiet calm and repetitive. I didn't up the vocals because I would have had to go back and re-record them and I'm still getting over the flu. Might do it later.

Lyrics
On a cold, frosty morn as the sun warms the earth
my heart sinks as you walk down the way
soft linen sheets still warm where you lay

On a cold snowy night as the sun hides its face
my heart soars as you come down the way
Cool linen sheets wait for the warmth you will give

Who you callin' Frotsy?
Other than the dyslexic title typo, it sounds nice and
relaxing... it is a bit repetitive (especially the harpeggio),
but the guitar, chorus, singing, and oboe give it a little
break from that. pretty atmosphere, clear well-separated
instrument voices, nice melody. I'm still waiting for
something with french horns in it though :-)

Ooops. Thanks for pointing out the typo. And thanks for the comments on the tune. Still trying to figure out how to do a good punk rock tune using a French horn....

this is an interesting song. personally, id enjoy this more
if the vocal kicks in much earlier though! but i enjoyed
listening to your song anyway.

Contemplative
You show great patience in building this up. With your
voice at that level it becomes a ghost. That adds a
different meaning to the song than the one you might
have had. (And if you were a ghost you could have
followed her and not bothered waiting for her to come
back! Unless you were the kind of ghost who wants to give
the person they are haunting some space.) But, for some
reason, I like the ambient effect of the vocal being that far
back in th mix alot.
The oboe that comes in after the vocals adds a touch of
warmth but a sense of solitude at the same time.

:)
That is a very long intro before the vocals come in but I really
enjoyed it, so I can't complain. Really lovely. I think you
need to bring up/forward the vocals. It's a very simple
melody but it is wonderful. This demonstrates wonderful
use or restraint. When the English horn comes in it's a real
treat. Just work on the mix of the vocals.

Lush and languid.
I really dig the immersive quality of this song... Like a
long slow hot Summer afternoon under a shade tree...
even though it's called Frosty Morn - I'm still getting that
feeling from it.
This should so be in a film.

Thanks for taking time to listen and comment everyone. I revised this when I
got JamPack 4 and plan on doing some more work to it in the future. I
appreciate the suggestions made.
