Outpouring
It seems like maybe you have been storing up ideas over that break .. because how many movements pour out in this extended piece? Four? Five? I keep losing count : )

Yet it sounds like you have just sat down at the keyboard and simply have started playing .. with the progressions nicely flowing into one another.

It has an air of melancholic resolve to it. Well - that's my interpretation the more I listen to it.

Amid The Flow
Gentle, contemplative piece, Christopher. Unhurried, amid the flow. Thanks, Peter.

Amid the flow
Gentle and contemplative. Has a "sit a the piano and play" feel - did you compose this by playing or writing it as notes?

Amid the flow
Really well composed piece - clearly very considered, to my ears, rather than the comments previously about it being a "sat down at the keyboard" thing. And then the performance of "what's there" if you follow me? Sometimes when you've had a break and come back with a fresh head, things have a way of lining up. Enjjoyed this very much.

Thoughtful...
This could have been a lot of things, but you kept it simple, direct, highly UNcomplicated, and, as a result, have delivered an honest piece of music that doesn't pretend to be anything other than absolutely soul-felt and authentic. What a very pleasant listen this was...and what a blessing for your mum. How cool. I enjoyed this piece very much, indeed.
