Lyrics
1.
I was standin' all alone, at the train station in Crankenhurst
I had just finished my lunch, roast beef and liverwurst
Well, I looked out my window
And I'll tell you what I saw first
(In Crankenhurst)

2.
There was James Dean in his Spyder and old Brando on his Triumph-T,
I saw Elvis in his Caddy with Marilyn upon his knee;
Well they pulled into the station, came inside and sat right next to me...
How could this be?

3.
there was a nip to the air with a clear blue sky
snow in the gutter but i never asked why
the driveway was so shiny and black
my buddy said come on climb in the back
well i went around the car and my feet went from under
smashed my shoulder on the tarmac
and it frankenhurts

4.
I said, "Sorry Elvis,
Should I take you to the hospital?"
He said, "Thank ya, thank ya very much,
But our schedule is very full."
Then he said, "Anyone ever mention
That you look like Martin Mull?"

Right then - as Jack would say
this is getting crazier by the verse and I love where you took the musical arrangement and story line. Great job connecting dots and moving this along.

That's crazy, man!
Now this is definitely something to Mull over Smokey--loved it! Michael

Elvis May Have Left The Building
...but no worries, Bill is in the house and this is one train that is right on track and picking up speed. Excellent turn of lyrics - I'm having a gas following the 'story' as it passes from one to the next. Not to mention the great musical interpretations!
