Lyrics
This is all improvisation without any planning or midi or editing in 1 take. Just something I had inside me, a feeling I had to get out. The exercise was to see how much I could improvise within the restraints of 4 bass chords within 15 minutes and this is the last 5 minutes. Enjoy :)

very
retro indeed. I like those vibrato saws!

Thanks my friend :)
Experimenting with the replicant VST here to create some extra fatness without drowning out the song's melody.

Nice work.

The Duke wasn't there unfortunately
He's too old and his hearing is gone from all the battles. The daughters were there though, Atreides girls are hot!

Concerto on Caladan
I know stuff all about synths, etc. but I liked the rich, immersive sound of the melody line synth in this. An enjoyable ride. Thanks, Peter.

Thanks my friend :)
Think my melodies were inspired by 70's rock or something.

like the power on this
You really got into this , some emotional chord leading on top of the steady beat very cool like when you let the reverb fly sounds like I'm swimming inside a synth I mean that in the best possible way Around 4:30 you rea;;you let it go now thats entertainment :)

Thank you!
That's my favorite part as well :) Glad you enjoyed it and I didn't get too carried away with the vst's and drown things out!

to revisit the sound and sense of a unique movie and myth. You made me smile. Thank you.

You are welcome
I loved Dune because of its score was one of the most innovative scores around for its time back in 1980. Same for the Warriors and Das Boot. A lot of great movie scores around 1980 that combined synths with traditional instruments like electric guitars and strings.

Star cycle
The upbeat melody is rewarding as you wind through the changes. Nice sounds on those keys...

Out there...
The feeling is from a great distance, that very round bass providing the depth to this track. I enjoyed listening to this track, but wish it moved somewhere beyond the few chords you've chosen. Six + minutes of the same harmony begs for some relief or somewhat of a change of direction. I wish you'd experiment with where a melody and harmony can go after you've established such a solid foundation as you have here. (I hope this doesn't sound too negative. Maybe my suggestions are useful; maybe not. Just my opinion, I guess.)

Thanks Paul
Nope not negative at all :) The point of the exercise was to improvise as much as possible within the constraints of the 4 chords for 15 minutes without stopping to think about anything or rest.
