He's early...
..but the warmth and character you deliver (believe me Philip--I've tried singing your lyrics and nobody does it better than YOU), make me feel as if that large, whiskered, jolly-old wheezer is attempting to squeeze down our rather limited-sized chimney (nice to have a fireplace again!) again! The song is full of all that Christmas means to me--so wonderful, and thanks for master-minding this whole delight! Yours always, Michael (and MERRIE CHRISTMAS to you and yours!)

Santa's On The Way
Some very nice playing, Philip. Lots of nice nuance and seasonal smooth. Yes, Santa seems in a fine mood this year. I hope he brings you a.... Gretch Country Gentleman! Gaby would be pleased :-) Talk soon (today in, fact). Peter.

Thanks
I have put in a request to Santa for the Gretsch, but I'm not confident I've been nice enough this year to get one. Oh well, perhaps a bottle of wine will be a reasonable substitute? Enjoy the hols!

Nice and smooth
Much better than all the dreadful stuff that gets played on endless loops in the shops around these parts at this time. I'm a bit of a bah humbug sort truth be known, but play this to your family on Christmas Day!

Best to you. :-)

Santa's On The Way
Very George Benson like. The palm muted section was a nice touch. Beautiful bridge. I like the double stops around 2:00. They led nicely to some beautifully fluid licks. Great tone on that lead guitar.

Merry Christmas into the new year
I am a bit late chiming in, but enjoyed it nonetheless. Love the warm smooth sound of your guitar and the final Santa Claus imitation. Made me smile!

I appreciate the comments on the playing, Tobin! Re the Santa Claus at the end, I must admit I just grabbed that via a Google search - it amused me, too.

Summertime in the Winter
Well, I know we're in opposite atmospheric spaces at this point in time, so your little Santa calypso strikes a bit of juxtaposition in the stars...but in just such a sweet, delicate manner, and with not only your characteristically wonderful playing, but also with such a very nice tune to carry the composition on gentle wings that transcend the weather no matter where one is. What a pretty song.
