Lyrics
a bell will ring

alone on a hill, a silent man awaits
when the signal comes, he won’t hesitate
the sky is silent, he draws a breathe
the hammer falls, the metal sounds

a bell will ring in their heads
better wake up and understand
a bell will ring in their heads
will they understand

there will come a time, with the sound of chimes
saved by the bell, time to understand
a wake up call, is at hand
a bell will ring, inside your head

a bell will ring in your head
better wake up and understand
a bell will ring in your head
will you understand

A Bell Will Ring
Thanks for ringing the bell in on 2015, Vic. Or was that 1975? :-) I heard hints of the Moody Blues tolling away in there, especially in the solo. Take care, Peter.

Let the Bells Ring
The only bell still around our house .. is located as a sound on my iPhone : )

While we are always seeking out new sounds as part of an evolving creative artistic search, I think it is legitimate to revisit sounds we have used in the past. Why not put them to use? This sounds fresh to me.

Wow
You're getting a lot of different sounds out of those guitars. Is the Boss gp-10 the synth guitar synth unit you got last year? Great track.

Vic Holman said 898 days ago (January 8th, 2015)
thanks kevin
yes, it is the boss unit creating all the guitar and synths. except the tele. even though the boss gp-10 does have a telecaster model. it's a pretty amazing modeling unit. i've barely touched upon what it can do in my recordings so far.

1969...
...reminiscent of the "thoughtful" music/lyrics of the Beatles (to my ears). Simple, direct, nicely performed (including those vocal slides!), excellent guitar work, esp. the bridge. This is well-crafted and recorded. Nice one, Vic.
